Mountain Biking Trails in Eagle, Colorado

Eagle, has hundreds of miles of mountain biking trails.  We have everything from beginner mountain biking trails to advanced trails.  The elevation of Eagle, is 6600 ft.  The locals of Eagle County refer to Eagle as being in the Banana belt of Eagle County because when it is often raining or snowing in Vail, it is sunny and dry here in Eagle.  Trails are open here from April 15 to December 15th.

Eagle has been getting a lot of great press and starting to hold some really good Mtn biking events.  Most recently Eagle held an event called Eagle Outside Festival where a race called the Firebird 40ish is help.  Many of the WECMRD race series events are held here in Eagle, CO.  http://wecmrd.org/sports/race-series/

Here is a great resource on Singletracks.com that shows trail ratings and difficulty.  Not sure who establishes the difficulty, but it is at least something to start with.
